Some of the Khatha related services are mentioned hereunder:


  1. Registration of a new Khatha: This is in the case of property, which has not been assessed for property tax so far;

  2. Transfer of Khatha: This is being considered when the title of the property is transferred from one person to another by way of sale, gift, Will or in case of death of the property owner etc.

  3. Bifurcation/Amalgamation of Khatha: Bifurcation when a property is divided into two or more parts. Amalgamation is considered when more than one property is merged together and a modified Khata has to be obtained in both cases.
